AMJON Conference and Awards ends on a high note

The much expected Association of Maritime Journalists of Nigeria (AMJON) Conference and Awards held in partnership with the NLNG Shipping and Marine Services Limited (NSML) came to a glorious close today (Friday, July 18, 2025) at the prestigious Lagos Sheraton Hotel and Towers Ikeja.

The highpoint of the grand event was award presentation industry operators who distinguished themselves in their respective fields operations in the past year.

Among key industry operators that were deservingly honoured with the AMJON Excellence Award, includes: NLNG Shipping and Marine Services Limited (NSML), Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Nigerian Shipper’s Council (NSC), Maritime Academy of Nigeria (MAN) Oron, President General of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Inland Container Nigeria Limited (ICNL), foremost Nigerian maritime industry bi-weekly Magazine JournalNG and the Executive Chairman of Isoko North LGA Delta State.

The event also featured paper presentations from NSML, NPA, Nigerian Shipper’s Council (NSC), and the Maritime Academy of Nigeria (MAN) Oron.
