NAGAFF President, Chief Ezisi hails CGC Adeniyi on election as WCO Chairperson

President of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), High Chief Tochukwu Ezisi, has sent a heartfelt message sage of congratulation to the Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi on his recent election as the Chairperson of World Customs Organisation (WCO).

 

Chief Ezisi in the message said that the emergence of CGC Adeniyi as the first Nigerian to lead the WCO is not only strategic but also a significant victory for the country and Africa.

 

The message reads in part: “I write, with great pride and on behalf of the Founder and the entire members of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), to express our sincere and heartfelt congratulations to you on your election as Chairman of the World Customs Organisation (WCO).

“Your tenure as CGC has demonstrated a clear commitment to transparency, innovation, and valued cooperation that resonate with the mission of the WCO. The global stage is set and we are confident that you will bring the same excellence and purposeful leadership to the world arena.

 

“As National President and on behalf of the NAGAFF family , I hereby affirm our full and unwavering support for your administration at the global arena. Chief Ezisi further prayed that the tenure of CGC Adeniyi would bring forth groundbreaking reforms, deepen global customs integration, and cement Nigeria’s place in international trade diplomacy.
