Olomu, officials of sister agencies walk against drugs

In commemoration of the 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking, the Customs Area Controller of the Apapa Customs Command, Comptroller Babatunde Olomu, Tuesday participated in the Walk Against Drugs in Commemoration of 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.

A statement issued at the end of the walk, by the Command Public Relations Officer, Abubakar Usman, a Chief Superintendent of Customs, stated that the CAC joined the Commander NDLEA, Apapa Special Area Command, and other government agencies in the port to bring awareness on the dangers inherent in drug abuse.

He quoted the CAC as saying that by working together, security agencies can achieve greater success and better protect their communities than they could alone.

Comptroller Olomu’s participation in the walk with the sister agencies Advocacy Times can reports, underscores the CAC’s high priority he has accorded collaboration with other agencies in the port since he assumed office as the helmsman at the nation’s number Area Command in the  country.
