Air Peace Limited has debunked reports of 100 per cent fare increase across domestic flight routes.

There were reports last week that the airline would increase its one-way ticket prices for Lagos-Abuja flight to ₦200,000 from about N100, 000, starting November 1, 2024.

In a statement issued by the airline’s management on Sunday, it described the claims as “false” and emphasised that the news did not originate from Air Peace.

In the statement shared on its official X handle, Air Peace management clarified that the information circulating about the significant fare hike is inaccurate and misleading.

Air Peace reassures passengers that it maintains transparent and competitive pricing policies, prioritizing customer satisfaction and affordability.

“Our attention has been drawn to reports and images circulating online regarding a purported 100 per cent fare increase by Air Peace Limited.

“We would like to categorically state that this information is false and did not originate from Air Peace,” it said.

The management of Air Peace, however, noted that any announcements regarding their pricing would only be made through their verified channels while advised customers to disregard the report.

“We have not released any official statement regarding a fare increase as described, and any announcements regarding our pricing would only be made through our verified channels,” it said.

“We encourage our valued customers and clients to rely exclusively on our above platforms for accurate updates and information on fares.”
