Ebeatu’s Micro Freight Consults emerges Nigeria’s best customs brokerage firm, wins MARCON Excellence Award

Micro Freight Consults Limited has been named Nigeria’s Most Outstanding Customs Brokerage Company, receiving one of the highest industry recognitions from the Maritime Correspondents’ Organisation of Nigeria (MARCON) for its outstanding professionalism, regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
The prestigious award was presented at the 2026 MARCON Annual Conference held on Thursday at Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
According to MARCON, the award recognises the company’s exceptional leadership in customs brokerage, consistent adherence to regulatory standards and sustained application of international best practices in trade facilitation.
The organisation also cited the company’s ethical business culture, operational efficiency and commitment to quality service delivery as key factors that set it apart within Nigeria’s highly competitive customs brokerage industry.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Micro Freight Consults Limited, Chief Michael Ebeatu, was represented at the ceremony by Mr. Uche Oyoyo, who received the award on behalf of the company.
Presenting the award, Chairman of the MARCON Conference Planning Committee, Mr. Paul Ogbuokiri, said the recognition was designed to celebrate organisations whose contributions continue to deepen professionalism, strengthen compliance and promote excellence across Nigeria’s maritime and logistics value chain.
