BREAKING: Another MMM, BBHTV scams over 2 million Nigerians

Another MMM ponzi scheme has swindled over two millions Nigerians of several billions of Naira after luring them into the scheme that promised to turn participants into instant millionaires.

The promoters of the scheme who have remained faceless, used some Nigerians as their point men and women, who man their offices and ran their adverts, using fliers to convince Nigerians of the genuineness of the scheme.

The participants were lured to join (by paying different amounts of money depending on the level the person wants to be, from levels P1 to P9), to be ‘just performing very simple task,’ watching three seconds video, and the person will be earning mouthwatering bonuses and other financial incentives.

The amount one earns depends on person’s level or the number of new entrants he or she brings in and the level the new entrants joined.

At the time the promoters of the scheme closed their platform against the participants last week, they had been in operation for about three months in the country according to information on their site.

Advocacy Times reports that it was sweet for the participants in first two months as their bonuses and other incentives were paid without delay, but from Octobers 1st, when the number of participants has ballooned to over 2 million, the company started preventing participants from withdrawing their monies and finally ended it last week by claiming that the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has frozen their account over non-payment of Personal Income Tax by the participants.

But, Advocacy Times checks indicate that FIRS does not collect Personal Income Tax, it is the state where the company is domiciled that collects that type of tax from the company.

More details later…
