Mpam Autonomous Community lauds Gov Uzodinma for reappointing son commissioner

Mpam Autonomous Community, comprising of the people of Mpam Ancient Kingdom, in Ekwerazu, Ahiazu-Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, have expressed gratitude to the Governor of Imo State, HE Senator Hope Uzodinma for reappointing their illustrious son, Dr Elias Emedom as a Cmmissioner in his cabinet.

President General of Mpam Ancient Kingdom, Hon. Anthony Odom in a message of congratulation to Dr. Emedom, noted that his reappointment by the state governor is well-deserved, saying it is a call to greater service to the state, to Ahiazu Mbaise, Ekwerazu and Mpam Autonomous Community.

According to Hon Odom, the reappointment of Dr Emedom, is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and selfless service to the people of Imo State.

He said, “We are proud to associate with your excellence and accomplishments. May this new appointment bring more prosperity and development to our community and Imo State at large.”

“We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the amiable Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma for this reappointment,” Hon Odom said even as he the Commissioner success in his endeavors.

Commissioner Emedom thanked the President General for extending the congratulatory message to him on behalf of the people of Mpam “in appreciation and support of my appointment as a Honourable Commissioner to the State Executive Council of our dear state, Imo State.

“Wholeheartedly, I accept your message with all sense of humility and responsibility.  I promise that with your support, candid advice, your cooperation and those of our brethren we shall have cause to smile, God being our help,” he said.

The Commissioner further said; “Thank you once more Mr. President for deeming it feat to relate with me as a mark of appreciation at this crucial time. Please do extend my regards to our brethren both at home and abroad. God bless us all.”

Dr. Elias Emedon is one the five commissioners recently sworn into office by Governor Hope Uzodinma at the new Exco Chambers, Government House, Owerri.

Other commissioners sworn in on that day were; Professor Boniface Nworgu, Chief Kenneth Okafor, Chief Enyinnaya Onuegbu, and Dr. Anthony Mgbeahuruike.

Dr Emedon was the Commissioner in charge of the Ministry of Sanitation/Hygiene in the last state Executive Council.
