Indication is that the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma may have authorised the demolition of Buhari’s sculpture and other statues built by Rochas Okorocha during his governorship in IMO State.
Recall that during the regime of Rochas Okorocha, the governor building statues of different people, including that then President of South Africa, Jacob Zuma.
The statues building made the state a laughing stock in the country and beyond as they had nothing to teach and of no significance to the state but just there to satisfy the governor’s fantasies.
