NLC spoils for war, demands unconditional release of Ajaero before 12:00 midnight

The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has utterly the Gestapo styled ‘arrest’ early in the morning today (Monday) of Comrade Joe Ajaero at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on his way to London for an international conference.
Rising fort an emergency meeting of the NLC following Joe Ajaero’s arrest, the union, demanded the immediate and unconditional release of Comrade Joe Ajaero before 12 midnight today.
They demanded the immediate reversal of the current hike in the price of petrol to N617/Litre.
The union also placed all its affiliates, State Councils, Civil society allies, and the Nigerian populace on red alert.
It further summons an emergency meeting of the National Executive Council (NEC) by 9:00 AM tomorrow Tuesday, September 10, 2024
