FG approves Air Peace to operate commercial to New York

Foremost national airline, Air Peace Nigeria Limited has secured Federal Government approval to operate commercial flight into and out of JFK International Airport, New York, United States of America.

The approval was contained in letter from the Department of Air Transport Management, Federal Ministry of Aviation, dated February 9, 2024 with reference number FMA/AMD/0186/S.5/X/696.

The letter which was addressed to the CEO of Air Peace was titled: Conveyance of Approval to Messrs Air Peace Limited to Operate Commercial International Flight Operations into and out Of New York.

According to he letter signed by the H T. Ejibunu, Director Air Transport Department on behalf of the Minister of Aviation, disclosed that the approval was given in line with the subsisting Open Skies Agreement between Nigeria and the United States of America.
